A curved tension fabric display stretches a custom-printed fabric graphic over a lightweight curved frame to create a seamless backdrop. These fabric displays are popular with exhibitors at trade shows, retail launches, and events across Ireland, and we print every graphic in-house at our facility, just south of Dublin.
The displays are available in different sizes. You can provide the graphics, or we can design them for you. As an Irish company, we print on-site in Ireland, resulting in a faster delivery.

- Trade show and exhibition stands at venues like the RDS Dublin
- Retail product launches and seasonal in-store campaigns

- Photo walls and sponsor back wall setups at corporate events
- University open days and graduation week displays
Sizes and Materials
Curved tension fabric display stands use a lightweight 30mm diameter tubular aluminium frame with push-fit numbered sections that click together without tools. Common Formulate curved fabric display sizes include:
- 2.4m: 2350 mm wide × 2380 mm high × 500 mm deep, frame weight approximately 3.3 kg
- 3.0m: 2950 mm wide × 2380 mm high × 500 mm deep, frame weight approximately 3.6 kg
- 6.0m: 5910 mm wide × 2380 mm high × 900 mm deep, frame weight approximately 7 kg
You can choose single or double-sided fabric graphics. A double-sided option works well when your stand is visible from both directions in an open-plan hall. If you need a larger display area, two stands can be clipped together to form a wider back wall.
Assembly and Setup
Tool-free assembly is one of the main reasons exhibitors prefer curved tension fabric displays over rigid panel systems. The aluminium frame sections are numbered and bungee-corded, so they connect in sequence with a simple push-fit action. One or two people can build the frame and zip the fabric graphic on in roughly ten to fifteen minutes.
Lay out all frame parts before you start, and zip the fabric from the base upward for even tension. Stabilising feet keep the stand steady in busy venues. The whole unit packs into a padded carry bag that fits in most car boots, making it easy to transport to events around Ireland.
Printing and Artwork
We print curved tension fabric graphics using a dye-sublimation printing process. The dye bonds into the polyester stretch fabric at a molecular level, producing vivid, Pantone-accurate colour that will not crack, peel, or fade with repeated use.
- Supply print-ready artwork as a high-resolution PDF or TIFF (300 dpi at full size)
- Include 25 mm bleed on all edges and use a CMYK colour profile
- Our in-house design team can help if you do not have print-ready artwork
The fabric graphic zips on and off the frame, so you can order replacement graphics for new campaigns without buying a new frame.

What Is a Curved Tension Fabric Display?
A curved fabric display consists of a tubular aluminium frame shaped into a gentle curve, with a stretch fabric skin that zips over the structure to produce a smooth, wrinkle-free surface. The curve gives the display a wraparound presence that draws attention from multiple angles, unlike a flat backdrop or standard banner.
You may also hear these called curved zipper walls. The tension in the fabric keeps the graphic taut and crease-free, so your branding looks sharp throughout the event. Most models are freestanding and need no fixings to walls or ceilings.
FAQs
What is the difference between a straight and a curved tension fabric display?
A straight display sits flat like a wall, while a curved display wraps forward at the edges. The curve creates a more dynamic look and draws the eye from wider viewing angles, helping define your exhibition stand space in an open hall.
Can I order replacement fabric graphics for my existing frame?
Yes. The fabric graphic zips onto the frame as a separate component, so you can order new graphics whenever your campaign changes. Confirm your frame size and zip configuration when ordering, and we will produce a fabric sock that fits precisely.
Can one person set up a curved fabric display stand?
One person can manage it, though two makes the job quicker with larger models. The numbered push-fit poles and bungee connections mean no tools are required, and most setups take ten to fifteen minutes.
How do I clean the fabric graphic?
Remove the fabric from the frame and machine wash on a gentle cycle at 30 °C, then hang to dry. The dye-sublimation print is embedded in the fibres, so it holds up to washing without fading.
Are curved tension fabric displays fire-retardant?
Our display fabrics meet NSAI-recognised fire-retardant standards commonly required by Irish exhibition venues. If your venue specifies a particular rating, let us know when ordering and we will confirm compliance.
